Willow Sibling

I wouldn't say I was a tree person particularly but here is another tree Blip! This second giant weeping willow was noticed (how could you miss it?) on this morning's early dog walk. It's a similar size to the one I photographed last week, and they could be siblings. They are only half a mile or so apart so it's not unreasonable to assume they were planted by the same person or organisation. I wonder when, and I wonder why. This one is on the green at the entrance to a newly built housing estate. I'm not sure what was on the site in the past. I think next time I'm in the nearby park, I will see if there are any willow trees there - I'm betting there will be.
