Kimberley, BC

Two hours down the road from Panorama, but still in the Purcell Mountains, is Kimberley Ski Field. Our days here have been filled with sun, good snow conditions and wonderful views across to the Rocky Mountains.  However there still need to be hand warmers in my mittens, as the daytime high has been around -10C.

In extras there is an image of the high speed North Star Quad lift, one of the longest lifts I have been on at 2.4km in length, and a nine minute ride.
