Pushing bedtime

LM is taking voice lessons at the university's Community Music School. To get him to brave up to singing in public, his teacher invited him to sing with the college kids during the Spring Concert. So today we are pushing the bedtime rules, and hanging out at the choir rehearsal hall between 8-10 pm. LM blends quite well with the collegers.

He is feeling quite alienated recently among his classmates. He prefers nerdy strategy board games and Minecraft to computer first-person shooters, and he gets offended by homophobic and racist jokes. It's hard to be 13. So, at the risk of cutting his sleep short, I am trying to show him there is a life outside of his classroom. Scouts yesterday, singing today. What will we do tomorrow? :- )
