Horse and Christmas brownie
The horse is made in China. I got it from a friend in Sweden, who traded in imported gifts. The Christmas brownie is called "tomte" in Sweden. He is a character from the folk lore, with special associations to the old Yule traditions.
The tomte was a protector of the homestead in the old Swedish farmland. If you treated him well, he would probably do a good job. Among other things, he should have a big bowl of the rice porridge that was specially cooked for the Christmas festivities.
So what have they to do together? If you have a child nearby, ask him or her! :-)
