1593. Gifts from Canada

I have often spoken about how wonderful this community can be and take great delight in meeting some of my virtual blip friends in person, if I get the chance...
I met one such amazing blipper in 2017 when we visited Toronto and we have now become firm friends....we often send each other little things through the post and she has on two occasions bought something on my behalf and then posted it on to me.
I received my second incredible swimsuit from a wonderful shop in her home town this week and the parcel included some sweet and very creative gifts for us!

Those of you that have followed my journal may know that we lost our beautiful black lab, Frodo Baggins in 2011, we’ve never replaced him as we couldn’t face the heartache of losing another friend...

Paula has painted, sketched and posted many little drawings of him and everyone is a favourite...I love these pretty key rings with their paintings of my dear Frodo staring wistfully out to sea....(in reality he would have run a mile as he was terrified of water!)
Each little painting or drawing tugs at my heart strings and brings back a flood of sweet memories....so thank you my dear friend for bringing my boy back to life in so many ways...
