Castle Rock

Whilst I don't have a tripod (Christmas is coming up, isn't it? Hint hint) the lovely- if often staggeringly incompetent - folks at Edinburgh City Council kindly put spikey railings around the perimeter to the Princes Street Gardens. The tips of these spikes just happen to be the exact size of the tripod screw joint in the base of my camera. And thus, the above photo was captured on my way from Gluwhein and Bockwurst to The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.
