Rich Red

Two of the trumpets of the Amaryllis have opened today and retained their glorious rich red. It was a Christmas present to Chris from Eda’s other granny, so thank you very much Granny Sue. Certainly not a disappointment with more still to come.

Pretty miserable day. There have been some bright moments but some very heavy showers. Managed to get to Pilates and back this afternoon without getting too wet. Need to brave the elements again soon for a quick drink with friends in the pub before going to the Ash Wednesday service at church.
