For a number of years now I’ve been reading about it but hadn’t realized how fantastic it is when you actually do it...that bursting sense of flavor that hits the back of your nose and throat as you grind particularly these tri colored peppercorns..
So, get yourself a Pestle & Mortar and grind your own..
A little at a time that way you get the freshest of fresh!!
The little pottery salt & pepper container I got at one of last years Christmas Market visits...it was probably meant to be a gift but I liked it so much I kept it! We spoke to the potter herself who is in business on a very small scale so it was nice to support her..!
On a totally bizarre note Mel is terrified of my Pestle & Mortar so I have to evict her to the garden when I am going to grind...
She is the strangest dog I have ever encountered!!
