Ship Cove

Where Captain Cook parked up on three different occasions and you can see why he came back. This is from Queen Charlotte's track at the start of our walk back, down part of the track before being picked up again by the mail boat. Spectacularly beautiful scenery. On the trip we saw little blue penguin, fan tails, Tui, grey warbler, gannet and on the way back a pod of dolphins played with the boat we were on - I failed to get a decent sharp picture of them even though some were only 6 feet away !
