Black Ice

It's bad out there!

Last night it rained on top of the frozen ground, roads and pavements. Result; black ice. It's like a skating rink outside.

The BLIP isn't very interesting in itself but is our hedge after a motorist crashed into it sometime this morning. We never heard a thing and only noticed it when we were going out in the car.

To add insult to injury our boiler broke down yesterday afternoon, so we are a little cold this morning. I'm waiting in for the repair man so hopefully normal service will be resumed shortly.
