Callanish

Cloudy today, but still a beach day. Dael Mor in the morning, lunch in the car, then Dael Beag in the afternoon. Splendid waves.

We went to look at Blackhouse Village on the way to Callanish Standing Stones, a megalithic monument that predates Stonehenge by at least 2000 years.

Am very grateful to Yvonne who has lent me her wellies for the rest of the week. Jane had a spare pair that she has lent to Yvonne. I couldn't get them on. Thick calves you see. But Yvonne's wellies are men's.

And I have a spare pair of socks.
