De Profundis

Truly, I have been overwhelmed at the heartfelt generosity and gratitude of the parents this year. They have worked tirelessly to raise money for the school and assist at events. Today, they prepared a bountiful feast for all the teachers and children, and these are the gifts I received. Suffice to say, there will be plenty of chocolates and cakes for my loved ones and I to feast upon over the Christmas holiday. As cheesy as it might sound, my job provides spiritual rewards aplenty. However, the occasional material reward does not go unappreciated, especially when it is of the confectionery variety. Happy Christmas indeed!
