Surviving

The cherry blossom is taking a real pounding.  Storm Freya last week and lashing rain and wind last night and today.  I had a lucky gap in the weather with sunshine for my lunchtime walk.  I think given the elements the blossom and daffodils are surviving well.

Today we were told that the collective consultation for redundancy has been started (but there are still ongoing discussions about whether we might make a little bit more which was also happening today).  Still no decision has been made about how the retention bonus will be distributed. Most people agree it should be spilt equally to everybody, but the powers that be have yet to decide.
