The Girls

Today I went for my trial shift at the restaurant, La Viva. The people there are really friendly and I think I did well; they offered me the job, so perhaps that's a good sign.

This evening the girls and I cooked a wonderful Christmas dinner; three-bird roast, stuffing, roast potatoes, sprouts, parsnips, carrots, sparkling perry and crackers.

Lauren & Lyds made mince pies (with a few jam-filled ones for me), then the three of us made a Christmas-tree cake covered with bright green icing.

We played charades at the table then sat together on the sofa to watch The Holiday, one of my favourite Christmas films.

Its been such a good day! :)
