Pinecones in the wind

Sometimes photo mistakes like overexposure (because I didn't check my settings beforehand , facepalm !!) can end up giving just that little extra to make a shot look more expressive ! Overexposed  shot of pine cones in windy conditions, darkened and a bit of fiddling with a colour gradient.

In other news it's 33 years since our eldest was born, how is that even possible ! He's far away in Singapore , so I couldn't bake him the by now famous Hartgerink applepie ...
