River Eamont.

Another dull wet day I decided to take the dog for a walk by the river. It is very high and coming over into the fields, there are lots of tree trunks all along the banks which if it gets flooded again will float down the river and get stuck at Brougham Bridge and cause a dam. There is a large tree still on the weir from storm Desmond 3 years ago.
There are quite a few houses for sale at Eamont Bridge that were flooded and have not been occupied since 2015. People don't want to live there anymore and who can blame them when they have been flooded 3 times in ten years.
