Pub Lunch

Long day at work... Generally doing nothing is not to be frowned at. It has its place, allowing a contemplative mind to be free. Idleness, I imagine, will have inspired countless philosophies, inventions and reinvigorated dedication to a cause.

The only thing I can think of is how much money Christmas costs nowadays, and latterly why my lunchtime nachos weren't as good as they were 3 weeks ago. (update: It was the cheese)

This photo is of the pool table where I claimed my first unbeaten run at pool. Game 1: nearly "grannied" until my opponent potted the black. Game 2: the gods were smiling upon me and everything just seemed to work. I've now retired from the sport and feel I will dine out on this for years to come. I may even move into motivational speaking.

Perhaps this was not such a wasted day after all?
