Flowering Currant

Very few birds in the garden today, but then it has been raining for most of it. The lawn is more of a lake in places - eeek! 

I squelched across the grass when I saw a few springs of the currant coming into flower. It's the only colour in our garden apart from green. 

A very boring day at work - not much happening and everyone seems to be a bit grumpy this week. I hope they snap out of it when I get to Sweden next week!!
