Remnants

Tonight I finally had my pancake fix, two days late. We had a couple of extras at Food Club tonight, a young girl recently arrived from Syria and a young boy who buried his mother yesterday. You never quite know how young people are going to cope with the things they’ve had to deal with, but hanging out and doing ‘normal’ things seemed to help tonight.

I tried to do a tempo run after work but a pancake induced stitch meant it wasn’t very tempo at all.
