80 years old...

Tonight we were in town again to meet some former work colleagues. We have a tradition of meeting up to celebrate when one of us celebrates a new decade. Birgitta (pictured) had recently celebrated her 80th birthday so that was this evening's excuse. Birgitta is very energetic, often seen walking past at high speed. She is also something of a cultural ikon, usually having seen the latest exhibitions in Stockholm, and is well known as a stylish dresser!  She was an excellent colleague and is now an excellent friend!
As always the whole group had a good time and enjoyed each other's company.
In such gatherings there is also news about ex-colleagues we wouldn't be seeing again, and others who weren't there because they were presently in hospital after various operations!  However, those of us who have made it are happy to eat, drink and be merry!
