I had the 11th in my head as the start date of the bridge closure for resurfacing, but had no problem believing that they had started when I saw the barrier. The cyclist in front of me seemed to doubt it and spent a couple of minutes trying to get through before giving up and joining me at the pedestrian crossing beneath.
