Houses

A grey day that turned very damp just after lunch.......we timed our morning visit to Dunham Massey Deer Park pretty well, managed to take a dozen or so shots before the rain started around 12.

At camera club we have a themed night coming up entitled "Houses", think I might include this shot. A row of lived in working cottages, within the park grounds.

Only clocked up 8k steps on our walk which we did cut short around the gardens as the rain set in as predicted.

Lunch in The Stables.....not too busy either. Jacket potato and coffee warmed me up.
Its certainly a lot colder than it has been of late, hub said its not, its because I dont have as much "insulation" nowadays ;-)))

We didnt make top 3 at the quiz last night, but ae did enjoy our meal out before hand, at our little french bistro :-) I had spiced duck drumstick with braised red cabbage followed by venison, wilted greens, mushrooms with sage and sweet potato mash, it was soooooo nice!
