Steamy windows.

What an appalling day. Fog and sheet ice everywhere this morning, didn't think I would make it out to the hairdressers as a neighbour abandoned going to watch her grandchildren's nativity at the village school as she couldn't move from hanging on to the wall at the bottom of our drive at 9.00 am.

It started to thaw and I did make it out by 10.00 am but the outdoor lights turned off by daylight were still on at lunchtime. It was dark and very, very wet!

At 2.00 pm I was meeting special friends at this 'Cakery' in Saltaire. A mixture of vintage kitsch and Christmas. The rain continued but we were snug inside with hot drinks, exchanging gifts and eating cakes. Lots of hot air too as we chatted happily all afternoon. Plenty to steam up those windows.
