Aperture on Life

Grey, Wet and Windy

I make no apologies for attacking this image with Photoshop. You really wouldn't want to see how this photo started out. The conditions outside can be described with the one word, vile. Not the best weather for a bird shot but I was nice and comfy so opted for a quick 'click the beastie oot the windy' so I could continue other occupations at the fireside. No, it hasn't been as cold, but felt so good!

Given that I had an easier day and the dogs were happier to cross their legs than brave the elements, I caught up on some overdue emails, dealt with the essential Christmas cards I always forget to send and have started on the NSSPS list. I was early to join and, am embarrassed to say, the last to participate. Feeling so much better now some of the wonderful mail, adorning my desk and beyond, will be reciprocated!

So that's a bit of Christmas Spirit recovered and it did dry up enough to give the mutts a quick wander. Can you see my new halo? :)

Ah bliss. At home for the night with no expected interruptions. I'm already in my jimjams and will now have a catch up on blip, lest the halo disappears. :)
