Showers

Working backwards, we went through to a 60th birthday party for my brother-in-law who was bowled over by the surprise and very sociable, when he wasn't throwing ambitious dance moves to Back in Black.

Prior to that, I was back at Mortonhall for what I found to be a very sad and upsetting family funeral, this time for Richard. A talented life ended far too early.

Coincidentally too, one of his sculptures is at my workplace - a sundial commissioned in memory of a former boss. I stood and had a wee look at it today:

Let others tell of storms and showers
I'll only count your sunny hours.
