Primary Netball Final

A windy and wet morning, but cleared by 11am, winds calmed and sun came out.  Dry so far this evening. 

I was up early, and the lasses soon woke up too.  The lasses settled with the telly after breakfast, and I started cleaning, with the poor morning.  We took Sammy for a walk when it cleared.  Julie, mam etc, 10 folk over for brunch at 12 noon  and then we headed to watch the lasses play netball. More walkies this evening, and then off out with friends tonight, hop night at Cunningsburgh hall.

Finals of the primary league today, and Lottie and Anna were in the Unst team.  There first match in the semi finals was against Whiteness, they won.  Sound beat Yell.  Whiteness played Yell, lost, so Yell came third.  The final came, Unst vs Sound, and what a great match, with a brilliant outcome, the Unst team won.  The lasses have left their weekend with me on a high.  Both lasses played a brilliant game, all teams have set a high standard.  The only shot I got of both lasses, Anna with the ball, and Lottie two behind her left, with friend Heather's lass Shannon in the middle of them.  Taken in the Scalloway school gym hall.
