Sleet

Thus ended my photo trip to the Hebrides, in rain and sleet, albeit observed from the warmth of the distillery canteen whither Yvonne, Ian and I had gone to enjoy hot soup, a decent cup of tea and a gin and tonic at lunchtime.

I found this morning's demo on photo processing valuable , making up to some extent for other shortcomings.

Snow and rain for around an hour followed by sunny intervals. Heavy rain is forecast for tomorrow morning. Yvonne's ferry sailing has been brought forward by one hour as a result meaning she will have to leave at 7 am. I hope Emma will be able to make it from Callanish. Perhaps I should have booked a taxi.

I bought a box of Harris gin for home delivery.
