Silly Saturday ....

... Happy Birthday, Barbara Millicent Roberts.

AKA .... Barbie.

So ... with Barbie turning 60 years old today I wanted to put to use some of the Barbie's we have around the house.  

And .... with it being a beautiful, warmish day we also wanted to get out for a walk.  Plainfield Rail Trail was the destination so we could also check on the chipmunks .... which we haven't seen so far in March. 

We all piled into our vehicle .... along with Barbie's convertible ... and drove to the rail trail.  We looked in on the chipmunks first but there was no sign of them being out of their burrows since the snow storm on Sunday night.  Not surprisingly the trail was still snow covered as it's been very cold since the storm.  But there was enough snow cleared from the trail so that we could at least walk up it for a little ways.  

Then we set up our little vignette!  I have added an extra of Richard moving some of the Barbies around.  I think it's maybe a little sillier than this shot with him in the background as it looks like a giant is attacking them!  I'm sure I looked pretty silly to the few joggers that ran by as I sat on the ground shooting this silly scene.
