Hjørring Bibliotek

A friend and I went on our own little field trip to visit the newest and in our opinion best library in Denmark.

When designing this library they have thought about pretty much everything. Of course the went from the old library to a new place with 3 times as much space, so it gave them some freedom to be creative. I took a lot of pictures and it was hard to chose which one to upload. I ended up picking this one because they put all the books facing outwards on this wall. That's not something I've seen in any other libraries, but I must admit it makes the books look much more inviting than when you just see the back.
