A bird walk today. Weather is much improved, but I still got cold...my birthday mittens were really good though :)

We saw a good range of birds: hen harrier, peregrine, sparrowhawk, pink footed geese, greylags, Slavonian grebes, curlew, moorhen, goldeneye, dozens of wigeon, velvet scoter (!), great northern diver...and many more, including this chaffinch.
