Party

Today was ''Kurdish dress day'' so another party for K at school! We were discussing today what children would wear in England if there was an ''English dress day''. We didn't come up with much!

We spent the afternoon with two Syrian families. I was really sad to hear that one family has taken their 6 year old son out of school because he got hit by his teacher. They don't seem too bothered about him not going :( The other family live in a single tiny room and get visited by long, poisonous snakes. These kind of conversations make us really sad and they are also good for us to realise again the luxury we live in.
