Ahh, That'll Be The Snow Then

So after hoping for not much snow for our quick trip off island we were greeted by a lovely snowscape when we opened the hotel room curtains this morning.
Luckily it wasn't too bad and we got through to the "big shops of Glasgow" and back to Oban in plenty of time for the ferry... only to find out our ferry was cancelled so we got in the standby for the earlier ferry... looked like waaaaay too many cars etc but somehow the lovely Calmac people squeezed us on and didn't have to spend another night off island.
