Diamond wedding

We were guests today at a Diamond Wedding lunch. Friends and relations gathered to celebrate with D and A at a popular restaurant in Epsom. The food was excellent, host A chose a trio of roast meats, and was amazed when her impressive meal arrived. The huge Yorkshire pudding makes it look even larger.
I was lucky to be sat next to their younger daughter and I have known her since she was tiny. It was so good to hear about her life now and the exploits of her three children.
After this great lunch, we went back to the house for tea, celebration cake and bubbly. They had hunted out their wedding photos, lovely!
It was a happy day.
