Pentlands

Today's the day ………………………. to chill

A strange light in the sky as we drove home south from Edinburgh today.

There was a dusting of powdery snow on the Pentland Hills which must have taken these sheep by surprise.  But every now and then, the sky cleared to a pretty blue (see extra).  It didn't make much difference to the temperature though - a chilly day at best.

There's more snow forecasted for tonight too.  Looks as though winter has returned for a spell …………………..
