Incoming

We had a quiet day at home today. I cooked roast lamb for lunch then we watched the ski jumping. It has been blowing a gale for 2 days. It rained on and off and I looked outside in the afternoon and saw everything lit up by a brief burst of sun with black clouds in the background.I went out to take some photos and saw this rainbow which disappeared before I had a chance to get a better vantage point. 
Gale force to hurricane like winds have been forecast for the next couple of days. As I write I am listening to the wind gathering force outside. It is normally hard to hear anything from outside with triple glazing and thick insulation in the roof.
