She was supposed to be singing in the Christmas concert at nursery this afternoon but a lack of other performing classmates due to a wintery influx of chicken pox meant it was cancelled until a different day next week. i was gutted, but littleA seemed more than happy being palmed off with a commiseratory festive walk in the park crunching leaves for twenty minutes whilst laughing our gloves off at the ducks slipsliding on the frozen pond whilst mummy stayed at home making mince pies.
