Crathes Castle Garden

The sun is shining but there is a cold wind. The day suggested being somewhere outside but sheltered. The walled garden at Crathes Castle comes to mind.

Spring is definitely in the air in the walled garden, and there is a large display of these small blue flowers in many of the beds.

In the evening we went for a Chinese meal, the restaurant was very busy. It was lucky we had booked in advance. Not sure why so many people are out for dinner this evening. We noticed the gritters were out, so ice is expected.
