Desert flower

It was rather a nice morning as I set off for the sprint cycle class.  I was almost late as I had got side tracked by dusting!  Later in the day I headed to Bicton Park hoping to see the very deep pink Magnolia tree but I couldn't find it.  I'm not sure if it has already flowered, there were other Magnolias in flower but looking rather bedraggled after all the high winds we have had lately.  The best flower photo I got was from within a greenhouse where there are lots of different cacti and succulents.  I believe its a Californian Poppy.
