ONE STREET: DOORS

Continuing the One Street project.

Some of the doorways have been altered and the original transom lights have gone as owners have raised the floor levels to tackle dampness. This one has kept the original transom ,though the two vertical mullions have gone. I'll show you one of the original ones soon, but I will need to get out there and give it a bit of a wash first!

This door may soon become more familiar to you, as it features in a new detective series set in Shetland. Seems Shetland just doesn't have the right sort of doors.

Sluggish day today, except for a wee walk up the hill with the Prof. Grandson No 2 coming from a sleepover tonight.
