Caboodle

After giving the cycling a miss yesterday I thought I'd better get out there today or I'd regret it, even though the weather looked pretty awful. So I got togged up - tights, overshoes, gloves, extra layer, extra socks, rain jacket, the whole kit and caboodle. I swear I've gone for a fortnight's holiday in the past with less clothes...

And it was wet and cold and windy and at one point, in a moment of madness, I decided that just because it happened to be sunny at that particular time, I'd go a certain longer way to get 100km in. And then got completely destroyed by the wind on the schlepp back from North Berwick. A hard final 50km, and very, very slow. Still.....all good :-)
