In Grief & Prayer

Beyond words tonight. I lit this candle & said a long prayer for the families, community, teachers, & especially the children who lost their precious lives today in CT. This image reflects their innocence, stripped away just before Christmas. I'm horrified & completely sick to my stomach, grieving with every parent in the nation. To imagine the pain & unfathomable fear, it's just unbearable. There is a letter circulating on Twitter supposedly from a little boy (a victim) to his father, apologizing, saying good-bye & offering to see him in Heaven. I'll close this post as I began, beyond adequate words.
