A Real Fisherman

In my neck of the Florida woods, there are 2 kinds of bird fishermen. Those that work hard for their food, and those that are beggars. This snowy egret was working it. He/she was on the edge of the dock...scanning the top of the water. Something glistened, and he/she struck...skimming the surface and nabbing the small fish. Quite a catch.

I put 3 photos in the Extras. A blue heron scratcher, a blue heron preener, and a pelican take-off.
