Starlings in the treetop

It was a beautiful afternoon for photography. The temperature was just above freezing and the light was great in the late afternoon. The starlings are considered a nuisance bird where I live but they do add a little interest to the bare tree branches. The red "apples" are berries on a nearby hawthorn tree.
