An unfortunate event

Whilst I was inside the garage building having just paid, a light truck cut the corner a bit too tight and took out my front bumper.

I was rather discombobulated when I walked up to my car... for a few moments, I just couldn't work out what had happened - until I saw all the excited witnesses inside the shop. Unfortunately, the driver slowed down to have a look, then legged it- forgetting that state of the art petrol stations have state of the art cameras too!

Ah well, the police were called and my morning catching up with a good friend was shelved. No one was harmed, and apart from some inconvenience and extra charges on a hire car, all is ok.


3 weeks on, as I catch up on my blips I finally received my repaired car- all shiny and clean.

It was odd driving my own car after 3 different cars in 3 weeks!
