Tonight we asked Miles to "show us his teeth" for a picture. It's the best way for us to get him to smile on command.

In light of what happened today in Connecticut (and what happened in our own backyard earlier this week)...I am so thankful to be hugging my sweet baby boy before bed tonight. At times he may challenge my patience, but he is my most treasured gift and he has taught me what true love is. I am so blessed each and every day to get the chance to be his mom. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families of those lost who their babies today.
