Old Mill Retreat

We call it the Green Cafe because its painted...Green. But its official name is the Old Mill Retreat. Julia and Linda always look after us well with mugs of steaming tea and a variety of snacks. Eggy cake for me and various fried egg rolls or baked beans for the others.

An excellent preparation for the ride home into a gale and pouring rain. Including a pesky puncture half way back. Fortunately it was under the M25 so I was able to shelter while mending it.

Now preparing for the Arts Society meeting this evening. it's our music evening with performances by the school students followed by a talk about Leokardiya Kasperova. No, me neither. But apparently she was an influential Russian composer who taught Stravinsky. Should be interesting.
