Bug eyed

Gradually the papering is getting done so our minds turn to the final stages. Choosing paint is proving a challenge, then there’s cleaning the carpets after the electrician has done the final fix. Settees to be delivered and the kitchen floor to replace.

Camping out in the bedroom has an end in sight as is a conservatory and second bedroom full of overspill from the lounge and dining room.

Another storm blasted through today with winds and heavy rain. And more forecast for overnight. We were able to get out to the local garden centre for our monthly free coffee and today’s blip, this bug eyed bug. Thanks to dbifulco for hosting Tiny Tuesday.

While Susan was out with her mum for an appointment at the hospital I ticked off a few tasks, including making curried parsnip and apple soup with the last of our parsnips from the allotment.
