Minimal Spring

A bit of still life today. 

Storm Gareth swept through this morning. I walked to the surgery for my 12 weekly injection and then walked Basil to Open Church coffee morning. Not many there, as you might imagine, in view of the weather.

Dentist this afternoon. She can do nothing more for me as my remaining back teeth are already mobilising. She has recommended a private dentist in Coalville to investigate the possibility of dental implants. I can hear the cash register ringing already.

So home to set up this photo for today. The hellebore is still blooming marvellously. I had intended to take photos before I went away. I love the black-purple colour and the contrast of the ivory stamens.
