Crail
We drove the few miles through to St Andrews and left the car in the dealers for its service then walked the half mile (approx) into town and spent the morning there. We had a walk round town and visited a very good bookshop where Fegus was invited in and had his photo taken by a very enthusiastic young staff member. Apparently they like photos of doggy visitors to highlight the fact that they are dog friendly.
I bought an intriguing book by Dame Sue Black called 'All that Remains.
We collected the car late morning and as the day was so bright, if a little chilly, we headed to through to Crail for the afternoon and had a good walk round after stopping for lunch at the Tearoom at the harbour. It was cold, dry, bright, and windy so we were glad that the dog friendly cafe terrace was sheltered. They also provide wool travel rugs so we were quite cosy and had a great view out to the Isle of May.
