My day began with an early trip to carry out voluntary work at this HMP.

It was wet, cold and windy on the way there and sunny on the way back.

Work calls at home and then watched some of the Cheltenham Festival on tv - not to bet but because we used to live in Cheltenham for many years! The Cotswolds looked magnificent in the afternoon sun after a very stormy morning.

Watched, in disbelief, the Parliamentary Brexit charade this evening.
